Database Requests Usage in Port Data API

One request to find your port is equal to 1 point from your total monthly package of requests based on your chosen subscription.

It does not matter how many ports you can get based on your API call to the Port Finder API.

One query is equal to one request subtraction from your total monthly database calls package

Port Data API Overuse Protection

All Datalastic plans and endpoints contain database Overuse Protection for our users. Each user gets a request package or a total number of requests to the database that you can do during your billing month.

Often by human mistake or some other bug in the query, you may call the MMSI number of the ship that does not exist. There might be some other issue why maritime data is missing.

If you call our API and no data is avaliable either because of the mistake in the query or some other reason, we do not deduct any points from your request package.

With that you pay only for the real data that you see.

You are free to cancel your maritime API subscription any time you wish in case you don’t like the AIS data by Datalastic.
