Ships ETA data API

ETA (Estimated time of Arrival) of vessels is a very useful data for Maritime, Logistics, Transportation, Tourism and any other industries that benefit from Maritime Data.

Datalastic constantly works on new features release this time based on many customer requests, we implemented Ships ETA data API as a part of Real-Time Vessel data tracking endpoint.

How do we calculate Vessel ETA for our API?

Since we have launched the historical vessel data API endpoint, we have been collecting an enormous amount of information about vessel movements, distances between ports, normal time that vessel takes to go from point A to point B, possible restrictions, and maritime limitations. All that data plays a big role in Datalastic`s calculated ETA for vessels where we combine the historical vessel data with a few model predictions and forecasting calculated formula that combined together allows us to create reliable data about the estimated arrival time of the ship vessels.

How to Access Ships ETA Data API?

If you are already an existing customer, then vessels ETA will appear automatically in your Real-Time Vessel tracking API endpoint. For new subscribers, ETA comes with any purchased plan included in your subscription as a part of a real-time tracking API. You can access all live vessel information through that maritime endpoint. Let’s see how you can get Ship ETA data in our API web services.
